LIVING
IN BRUSSELS

Mench is one of Revive’s future projects. The project is located in Schaarbeek and will consist of 41 units that will be leased. The plans are currently being drawn up, so we have very little information at this time.

Interested in being part of the productive ground floor?

Mench will consist of +/- 41 houses. It will be a mix of various typologies: smaller and larger flats, but also duplexes, each with a private terrace. Several residential units will be earmarked for co-living. This will all be built around a large, communal courtyard garden measuring 2,500 m² and designed by a landscape architect. In other words: something for everyone!

Location

Mench is located in Schaarbeek, Belgium, near the railway station, on one of the loveliest streets in Schaarbeek (Huart Hamoirlaan). The Trainworld museum is nearby, and the nature reserve “het Moeraske” is also within walking distance. Mench also has an ideal location because it is easily accessible by public transport!

History

Until the end of 1974, the location of Tannat and the surrounding building blocks was home to the Vandenheuvel brewery, where the delightful Ekla-pils was brewed. After its closure, various parts were sold, and the renowned Palais du Vin established itself on the premises. Since 2008, they have come together under the Cinoco Group, a renowned Belgian wine distributor with a rich history of over 325 years. For many years, they had their wine warehouses in Molenbeek. In 2019, Cinoco moved to Nivelles, freeing up space on the site for a school and a versatile residential project.
